We absolutely loved our stay in the north-west part of the island, but today we packed our bags and moved to the south-east, near the main town of Funchal.

Because we can’t get enough of Madeiran scenery, we made a few stops along the way: Ribeira da Janela, Boca da Encumeada, Eira do Serrado. In Funchal, we walked near the port and pretended we had just gotten off a cruise ship – and took the obligatory fromage pictures.

On a adoré notre séjour dans le nord-ouest de l’île mais aujourd’hui c’était le temps de déménager dans le sud-est.

Puisqu’on est boulimiques de paysages, on a fait des arrêts à Ribeira da Janela, Boca da Encumeada, et Eira do Serrado. Arrivés à Funchal, on s’est mêlés aux croisiéristes, nos photos quétaines en font foi.
