We’re in Alaska!
We are spending two weeks in America’s Last Frontier. We have landed in Fairbanks, rented a car, and will be spending the next few days making our way to Seward, 800 kms away. Then it’s a one week cruise to Vancouver, a short stay in the BC city then a return flight home.
The start of our trip suffered turbulence as our flight from Chicago was delayed by 6 hours. We went to bed at 5am “our time” but everyone took it in stride.
Today was spent in and around Fairbanks: a riverboat cruise, a visit to Science North, and a stroll in town. It’s already a great trip and it’s only the beginning!

Nous sommes en Alaska!
Nous passons les deux prochaines semaine dans le 49è état des USA: quelques jours à explorer les 800 kms séparant Fairbanks de Seward, puis une croisière direction Vancouver.
Se rendre à Fairbanks ne s’est pas fait sans heurts: notre vol Chicago-Fairbanks fut retardé de 6 heures; on s’est couché à 5h du matin “notre heure” mais c’est pas grave!
Aujourd’hui nous avons exploré Fairbanks. Demain on se rapprochera du mont Denali alias McKinley.
