What a day in Stowe! Thanks to the perfect weather we were able to rent bikes and go on the recreation path, a 16 km trip dotted with beautiful vistas!
All that energy spent meant we did not feel guilty going to a Swiss restaurant and enjoy fondue and crêpes.
For desert, hey, when you’re that close to the Ben & Jerry’s factory, ya gotta have ice cream! We did the factory tour, had a sample. And then. And then we had the Mini-Vermonster, a 4 scoops, 1 brownie, 1 chocolate chip cookie, 1 banana, hot fudge, hot caramel, Reese’s pieces, sprinkles and whipped cream ode to glutonery. We almost ate it all. We feel a bit gross about it but how come we can’t stop smiling?!

Quelle journée à Stowe! Conditions météo idéales, on en a profité pour faire une balade de vélo sur le sentier récréatif, 16 kms de plaisir et de vues spectaculaires!
On ne s’est pas senti (trop) coupable de luncher à un chouette resto suisse.
Et pour le dessert: quand t’es proche de Ben & Jerry’s, faut y aller! On a fait la visite de l’usine et puis… et puis… le Mini-Vermonster, une ode à la gourmandise faite de 4 boules de crème glacée, 1 brownie, 1 biscuit aux brisures de chocolat, 1 banane, du fudge, du caramel, toutes sortes de garnitures, et de la crème fouettée. On l’a presque tout mangé. Faut-il en être fier???
