Sammy wanted to visit Vatican City since, according to the National Geographic Angry Birds Atlas, it is the smallest country in the world. We spent the morning walking around Rome then we toured the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St-Peter’s Basilica and St-Peter’s square – too bad we couldn’t take pictures in the Sistine chapel, it is breathtaking.
Tired (it was +35C) but happy, we then braved the Rome rush hour and made our way to our own little castle for two days, in Tuscany near Siena.

Samuel voulait absolument visiter le Vatican puisque, selon l’Atlas Angry Birds National Geographic, c’est le plus petit pays au monde. On a déambulé dans les rues de Rome ce matin pour ensuite visiter le Musée du Vatican, la chapelle Sistine, la Basilique St-Pierre et la place St-Pierre – dommage qu’on n’ait pu prendre de photos dans la chapelle Sistine.
Fatigués (il faisait +35C!) nous avons affronté l’heure de pointe romaine pour se rendre à notre domicile pour les deux prochains jours, en Toscane près de Sienne.
