On the first day of Christmas, my true love said to me… let’s hit the road to the Alps! We are in Briançon tonight after a day of driving made beautiful by the weather and a stop in Les Baux de Provence.
Our Christmas dinner was at a typical Savoie restaurant: the cheese fondue was to die for, and my new year’s resolution is not to weigh myself ever.
No snow at all here, which is odd since we’re going skiing tomorrow. But these are big mountains, I’m sure we’ll find the white stuff way up there.

Un Noël passé sur la route des Alpes en direction de Briançon, avec un arrêt aux Baux de Provence.
Nous sommes ici avec Diane, Greg, Bradley et Sarah pour skier à Serre Chevalier. Mais y’a pas un flocon de neige dans la ville, ça fait bizarre. Heureusement que les montagnes sont hautes…
On s’est gâté avec un repas de Noël typiquement savoyard, la fondue aux 3 fromages (Comté, Beaufort, Emmental) était fabuleuse!
