Bruxelles

3 days sans internet access is like being back in the old days when postcards ruled; charming but I prefer the here and now. First catch-up post: Brussels. Great little big city, showcases the Belgian sense of humour. Like Manneken Pis, a statue done when a dad promised to build one in whatever position he’d find his long-lost son. ‘course he was peeing when he was found! Not to be outdone, a modern benefactor decided to even things out and build the feminine version of it; rather interesting. Went to the Atomium and sampled waffles many times, and saw there are more chocolate stores than Tim’s in Toronto. That many.
