To all my ski buddies with whom I’ve shared a cheese fondue over the years: my apologies. They were never, ever as good as the one we had in Gruyeres! We’re in Switzerland now, with a stop in Grenoble on the way. Grenoble is a fantastic town, we went downtown and took a gondola up to the fort, great views of the Alps all around us!
