Today was our first full day in Sauve. Amazing what a good night sleep will do! We set out to make this house our own, and that means a bit of shopping. So off to Montpellier we went, where we experienced a different shopping mall: you can see bad weather isn’t a factor in designing a mall. Then a second attempt to find “our” grocery store was better but we’re not quite there yet.

Finally after dinner we took our first real “tourist” walk around town to explore and it is neat. You can almost feel you’re in the Middle Ages. Very steep too, we’ll get in shape this year for sure.

Tomorrow’s destination: the beach.

Notre 2è journée à Sauve, on est retombés les pieds sur terre, le moral est excellent! Journée de magasinage pour faire de cette maison “notre” maison, donc direction Montpellier et notre vieil ami Ikea. Au retour, mes premiers lacets dans les montagnes des Cévennes, je vais me régaler en auto cette année! Après souper, on a exploré Sauve, quel village, on peut presque s’imaginer ce que c’était au Moyen Age. Et, après un an ici, nos mollets seront bien aiguisés!
