Friday June 6, 2014. While the D-Day celebrations were going on in Normandie, we were having our own, less traumatic day.
Call it V-Day: we received our long-stay visas for France!
We’ll be able to hop on the plane on Sept. 1st and stay there for a full year.
Now the planning begins (oh, wait. We’ve already started that)

Vendredi 6 juin 2014. Alors que le monde se recueillait sur les événements du Débarquement de Normandie 70 ans plus tôt, nous avions notre propre journée spéciale, autrement moins traumatisante.
Appelons-le notre Jour-V: on a reçu nos visas de long-séjour en France!
Départ le 1er septembre, de retour un an plus tard!
